Congratulations to Niall Taylor (SV) who was selected to play for the West District squad in the 2018 Boys' U18s Scottish Inter-district Tournament at Peffermill in Edinburgh on 22nd and 23rd September.
Team West won all their games throughout the tournament proving too strong for East and Midland districts. The West boys secured a 4-2 victory over a strong Midland side and a 2-1 victory over rivals East and won all their other games throughout the competition with convincing scores. Remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament secured Team West gold and the winners of the 2018 Boys' U18s Inter District Hockey Plate. Finn Halliday, Class of 2018, was also on the team - well done Niall, Finn and the West boys!
