Pipers from Band I Enjoy Composition Workshop and Competition
Band I Pipers were recently challenged by Mr Warren to compose their own tune!
During last term, Mr warren ran an amazing composition workshop with our St Columba’s School Pipe and drumming programme Pipers.
Pipers from Band I were challenged to compose their very own tune. After receiving some outstanding compositions, SVI Pipe Sergeant, Samuel R, was selected as having penned the winning tune! Mr Warren kindly donated a copy of his recently published book “Eat, Sleep, Pipe, Repeat”, which he presented to Samuel earlier this term.
We can not wait to hear Samuel perform some of the tunes included in Mr Warren’s music book, and hope we will be able to hear that winning composition too. Congratulations Samuel and well done to all who took part!
