Former Pupil Weekend 2021
In March 2020, we were gearing up for our Former Pupil Weekend which features rugby and hockey matches between the previous year’s leavers and Senior VI. The events are always very well attended, perhaps because they embody the Columban spirit: a sense of community, a healthy competitive edge and lots of fun. Last year, the event was cancelled entirely but this year, we were able to host the events (albeit without spectators).
The teams played top notch matches in their sponsored strips. Both the rugby boys and hockey girls trained hard and it was great to see well-known faces return for the matches. Many thanks to our sponsors for kitting out our sportspeople so professionally and thank you to our former pupils for coming back to visit us!
