Euan's success at the Atholl Gathering and our Piping and Drumming Programme feature in local newspaper.

Congratulations to Piper Euan L, Senior III, who recently won the Under 18 March, Strathspey and Reel event at the Atholl Gathering Online competition.

Due to the continued restrictions on events and the precautions of limiting aerosols, Euan submitted a video entry to the competition. This is also Euan's first time entered into an older and much more competitive age grouping for the Atholl Gathering Online competition, thus making his achievement even greater!

Our Piping and drumming Programme have also been incredibly busy making sure that despite the lack of showcases and gatherings this year they have still been perfecting their performance skills.

Recently the Greenock telegraph newspaper visited St Columba’s to hear all about the bands efforts to continue playing throughout the pandemic, and document the first time they were able to practice outdoors as an entire band.

You can view the article here.

You can keep up to date with the band via their social media on instagram, twitter and facebook. As restrictions ease you can keep an eye out for any upcoming St Columba's Pipe Band events too!
