Pupils from Senior V have relaunched our LGBTQ+ Club, PRISM, and raised the Pride outside our Senior School.

This week we are joining many schools across the UK and taking part in School Diversity Week. Our in school club, PRISM, has also recently been re-launched by a group of SV pupils, who have begun planning how they will educate others and lead the club in the throughout the academic session!

To celebrate pride month and coincide with School Diversity Week, PRISM have already set to work by ensuring flying the LGBTQ+ flag outside our Senior School in celebration of diversity week and Pride month.

School Diversity Week is run by ‘Just Like Us’ and is an annual recognition and celebration of LGBTQ+ equality in education and supporting all our LGBTQ+ families.

Hilary E-W also spoke to us about what the club’s aims are and how PRISM will help create a safer and happier environment for pupils within school. We are delighted the club has been reformed and can not wait to catch up with them in the next school year to see what plans they have.
