Senior I pupil, Maisie, has won the district final round of the Rotary Club's Young write competition.

Congratulations to Maisie B who has won the West of Scotland district final of the Rotary Club's Young Writer competition. Maisie was handed her certificate and award after last weeks Senior School Assembly.

The Rotary Club Young Writer Competition allows entrants a chance to express themselves and be creative with the written word. A theme is selected each year. Entrants can then decide if their piece will be fiction or non-fiction, prose or even a poem. This year the writers themed their work around the title 'My Happiest Day'.

Well done, Maisie!  We hope to feature your winning piece in the next issue of our magazine.
