Earlier this month SV Kilallan prepared some delicious meals highlighting the importance of diet and nutrition.

We all know it is important to do our best to look after our health, both physical and mental. Earlier this month, SV Kilallan have focused on one of the pillars that supports good mental health - diet.

They were challenged to cook something for their family, which not only developed their cooking skills but also helped the year group understand more about nutrition. They produced some delicious dishes.

What was on the menu? Homemade tortilla chips and two types of salsa, teriyaki chicken with courgette and carrots, steak and steamed vegetables not to mention some tantalising sweet treats such as this delectable coffee cake.

Everyone enjoyed  improving their skills and sharing photos of the fruits of their labour. Bon appetit!
