Pupils have helped in creating their own K.I.S.S list.

We know that home learning and virtual school is a new and sometimes overwhelming experience. Luckily Junior School pupils have helped Mrs Duncan in creating six rules to help simplify our virtual learning world, naming the list ‘Keep it Simple School’!

The K.I.S.S list includes different helpful tips that can guide you if you are getting a bit stuck during the virtual school day. Well done to all the pupils who made some brilliant suggestions to complete the 6 tips that make up the list.

The list is as follows;

1.     Ask a Teacher.

2.     Ask each other.

3.     Go on to something you enjoy or find easier.

4.     “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time” – (Tackle things in small, manageable steps)

5.     Don’t panic and keep calm!

6.     Take inspiration from what you can do – look back at other successful work to make you feel more confident.

Well done to Eva S, Harriet G and David M who suggested ideas 4, 5 and 6, and thank you for sharing your useful words of wisdom. We think that everyone can use Junior School’s K.I.S.S list advice as we all navigate working from home, virtual school and home learning.
