We Are Giving Back to Our Community With Our Sponsored 10k.

On Tuesday, 9th of June, we are celebrating St Columba’s Day by giving back to our community!

We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be able to maintain teaching and learning for our pupils during this uncertain and challenging time. After all, every child has the right to learn. We believe this so strongly that on the 9th of June, St Columba’s Day, we are going to give back as a whole community. Pupils and staff will be asked to run, walk or cycle “10k for St Columba’s Day’. We are encouraging our pupils to appeal to family and friends for donations which will go to the Belville Community Garden Trust’s “Bridge the Digital Divide” campaign which aims to bring educational technology to families in Inverclyde who are less privileged than ourselves.

Digital literacy is arguably more important than ever before and we hope that this concerted effort on behalf of our school community – over 700 pupils and staff - we will make a significant impact on learning in Inverclyde, one of the regions in Scotland worst affected by this pandemic.
