St Columba’s Junior School Pupil Wins Superhero Design Competition!
Owen (J2) has had his winning design produced into a luxury pencil case!
As the new school year is due to start in less than a month you may have already started ‘Back to school’ shopping. However, there is no need to fret as St Columba’s pupil, Owen O, has your stationary storage sorted with his competition winning pencil case design!
During Lockdown, Owen had entered a ‘design a superhero’ competition, with the clothing and lifestyle brand Scamp and Dude. Thanks to the many votes and Owen’s excellent design, his superhero ‘Sydney The Star’ won and has now been put into production!
The pencil case comes in two designs featuring the entries from the final winners and £5 from the sale of each case will be donated to NHS charities together. Owen had also described how Sydney was able to help people sharing that, “If people don’t have the right medicine Sydney flies to them and saves them with his medicine. He has medicine to fix everything. He also has a rainbow cape which is super cool.”.
Well done to Owen for using such creativity and talent to care for our community, we cannot wait to see the next designs!
