If you think you know SVI, then think again!

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, members of SVI took to the stage to lip sync for their lives (and to raise money for the yearbook).

There were glitter cannons, harmonicas and even a special appearance from Father Christmas himself!

During each show, the SVI were joined by a panel of esteemed judges who were tasked with critiquing the acts before crowning a winner. Tuesday night saw Mrs Shaw, Mrs Houston, Mr Houston, and Mr Paterson make up the judging panel who crowned the large ensemble act who performed 'Timber' by Pitbull, as well as the Treble Makers final routine from the film 'Pitch Perfect'.

Meanwhile, Wednesday's panel - Mr Morrison, Mr McLaughlin, Miss McLaughlin and Mr Gallacher - felt that Heather Y and Lauren A's rendition of 'Hopeful' by Bars and Melody best exemplified the art of the lip sync.

Well done to the SVI for bringing so much energy and fun to this event, the judges for their quick witted feedback and Dr Hay for keeping the SVI in check. This will an SVI show that will be talked about for years to come.
