Congratulations to Sandie R (SV) who has been selected to attend the Strathclyde University Space School!

Sandie will join other SV school pupils from across Scotland, in a week-long residential summer school. The University of Strathclyde has the largest Faculty if Engineering in Scotland, an amazing venue for inspiring the next generation of Engineering and Technology students.

The programme aims to increase the motivation and aspirations of young people studying Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM). Including an ‘out of this world’ mixture of themed lectures, labs and workshops. Sandie will also learn about Space Physics from a range of scientific researchers, engineers and NASA representatives. At the end of the programme there is then the opportunity to visit Houston, Texas, after an assessment process.

This is a wonderful learning experience for Sandie, hopefully she will report back to mission control afterwards to tell us about her amazing adventure.
