SVI completed this turbulent week with the trowing of their ties.

What an end to a turbulent week! We could not see SVI leave without completing the St Columba’s tradition of the throwing up of their ties. We know that we are all facing uncertain times ahead, but we look forward to watching the school move online, as we begin remote learning. It may be goodbye in physical form but we will all be here at the click of a button!

Unfortunately, are saying goodbye to the wonderful SVI class of 2020. These strange and turbulent times are ones that nobody will forget, and we hope that SVI pupils of 2020 will always remember how brave and resilient they have been in the face of such adversity. It is uncertain how the rest of this year will play out but we know one thing is definite, that this is not goodbye.

The pupils caused havoc holding an ad-hoc ‘Mash Up Day’ - their laughter and occasional squeals brought so much joy to everyone today, as they have their entire St Columba’s journey. Who could forget when the SVI pupils brought the bright lights of Broadway to St Columba’s with their sell-out cabaret performances? Or their hilarious SVI Extravaganza that transported the audience through the corridors of St Columba’s? We wish them the very best of luck and hope they will all stay in touch.
