Probationary music teacher, and former pupil, Archie Morris is nominated to represent the independent sector at the Natinoal Probationer of the year event 2020

Despite the school being closed, there continues to be some amazing achievements and news to share with our St Columba’s community. Our probationer Music Teacher, and Former Pupil, Archie Morris has been nominated as National Probationer of the Year. Archie has been selected to represent the independent sector at the General Teaching Council Scotland - National Probationer Event  2020.

Archie has been nominated by the Scottish Council of Independent Schools, for his outstanding achievement as a probationer. We believe that Archie is a real worthy winner, the nomination is a fitting testament to his high standards and hard work.

This annual event allows probationer teachers the opportunity to celebrate their achievements, along with the impact that they have had on their pupils, schools and communities. The event is due to take place in June but with the current circumstances we will keep our fingers crossed that it is not postponed. One again congratulations to Mr Morris.
