We were very sorry to learn that Helen Laird OBE, DL and Honorary Vice-President of St Columba’s School, passed away in April.
We were very sorry to learn that Helen Laird OBE, DL and Honorary Vice-President of St Columba’s School, died peacefully on 18 April, in her 90th year.
Her private funeral was held on 5th May. Helen’s contribution to St Columba’s School is unparalled. A former Head Girl and gold medallist, she joined the Board of Governors in 1975 and became Chairperson in 1989.
She has been an outstanding supporter of school events until relatively recently. We send our deepest sympathies to Helen’s brother and sister and her nieces and nephews.
