St Columba’s School DofE Programme Receives Their Social Value Certificate
Pupils who have worked towards their DofE awards receive certificate recognising their contributions
We are very pleased to have officially received our Social Value Certificate from the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme. The certificate highlights the number of hours which pupils from St Columba’s have dedicated towards the volunteering, physical, and skills sections of their D of E award. All pupils completing the award at a variation of different levels have been able to prove their resilience and perseverance by completing these sections of the award during a significantly difficult year.
The certificate shows in hours the amount of time that has been spent completing these sections but also expresses their volunteering efforts as a monetary value. The effort that has gone into helping pupils achieve their awards has also been tremendous, and we hope all can celebrate in this achievement.
We are pleased that our DofE programme is able to return to St Columba’s after a brief period of postponement due to the current restrictions.
