Success for Pipe Band Members
Nicholas M and Euan L gain fantastic results in recent competition
Congratulations are due for members of our St Columba’s School Pipe Band after recent success in the Shotts and Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band Junior Solo Championships.
Snare Drummer Nicholas M (SII) and Piper Euan L (SIII) entered the Championships, gaining some excellent results while contending with an international field of competitors.
Nicholas claimed 2nd place in the 15 and under Drum Fanfare category, and Euan Achieved 4th place in both the 15 and Under Piobaireachd and Hornpipe/Jig categories.
Well done to both pupils, and congratulations for their fantastic achievements.
