Welcome back to St Columba's Virtual School everyone! While this is not how we thought our Spring Term would look, we have been here before and if this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that us Columbans know how to rise to a challenge!

Countless members of staff spent early January collating & printing resources, planning lessons and preparing as best they could to ensure you have an exciting, inspiring, productive and rewarding term. By the end of the week corridors were adorned with piles of paperwork, ready to be delivered to all our pupils. However, it must be noted that his did not just happen by chance. Lots of members of staff (IT, admin, teachers...) worked incredibly hard and we are so grateful for their tireless pursuit of the best possible experience for you, our pupils! As Mrs Kincaid said 'everyone pulled together like a family to make sure pupils feel ready and supported during this really challenging time ahead. Privileged and proud to work with such an amazing, dedicated group of people.'

We hope that everyone will enjoy the term, and if you have anything social media worthy, please email marketing@st-columbas.org or join our facebook community group and share there. For mental health tips, inspiring quotes and general positivity, Mr Reid, Mrs Bellew, Mrs McGlennon, Mr Brims and Mrs Carlton have got you covered. Please head over to Twitter.
