Our pupils share their experiences.

In March, we interviewed a number of new pupils from Junior 6 to Senior III as part of the ‘Become a Columban’ video series. These pupils have, in the most part, joined us since lockdown and in the videos, they tell us how they have fayred starting a new school in exceptionally circumstances. These pupils have joined us from all over: from local state and independent schools and from overseas (even as far away as Oman!).

We would also like to wish a warm welcome to all the pupils who have joined us over the last year. The circumstances have been unique, but you have thrived and positively contributed to our community already.

Each pupil kindly chatted to us about the highs and lows of settling into a new school; Offering their advice to pupils who might soon be starting their St Columba’s journey. Pupils discuss their initial worries, extracurricular clubs they have enjoyed and reveal the highlights of ‘Becoming a Columban’!

Thank you to all our pupils who took the time to speak with us. We are so pleased to have you with us, and hope you enjoy you St Columba's journey!
