Congratulations to Sophie R (SIII) for successfully auditioning for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Junior Department.
Congratulations to Sophie R in Senior III who joins an ever increasing number of St Columba's pupils who have successfully auditioned to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Junior Department.
Sophie will commence tuition in September, attending each Saturday where her first study will be piano. She will also attend musicianship, choral and performance classes. Places at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland are very limited and the standard of playing required for piano is exceptionally high so we are very proud of Sophie's achievement.
A huge thank you, must also go to her piano teacher, Ms Linda Gibson, for all the work she has done in preparing Sophie for her audition.
