Well done to Finn A (SII) who has recently helped out at his local Vaccination Centre

Across St Columba’s our pupils continue to amaze us with outstanding displays of kindness and care, not only to one another but towards their community too.

During the recent holiday, Finn A (SII) volunteered to help at a local Covid Vaccination Centre. Displaying his dedication, Finn attended training sessions to make sure he was ready and equipped for a full day working at the Centre.

While working at the Centre, Finn took on a number of different roles during his shift over six hours. Greeting patients, operating the computer at the reception desk and maintaining sanitized conditions by wiping down chairs between patients; Finn was a great help in making sure the clinic ran smoothly.

Finn’s mother commented ‘To say I was proud of him would be an understatement, just listening to him chat away to the patients was lovely’.

Well done Finn! Your school is very proud of you and your efforts in supporting the national vaccination programme!
